Gendai Reiki

I am now going to train in Gendai.  I am excited to start a new path in my Reiki journey.  After moving to a new town, I have felt disconnected and miss my Reiki friends and associates even more markedly.  I enjoyed the older post at www.gendaireiki.com that explains the Reiki symbols (in the post referred only to by initials) in a different perspective.  Perhaps to me the most exciting part of Gendai is the focus on Reiki as a spiritual path.  It's always felt like one to me, so I think Gendai will naturally fit into my life.

I would like to hear from others what they feel about Gendai training and attunement, especially if you received it after already being a traditional Reiki master.   Any insights, no matter what your training and lineage, would be most appreciated.
